In what quite possibly could be the worst news a Grizzlies fan will hear right before the playoffs, defensive stopper Tony Allen has been ruled out indefinitely with a strained calf in his right leg .
This means that in all likelihood we won’t be seeing the Grindfather hit the court against the San Antonio Spurs in this 1st round
Grizzlies SG Tony Allen diagnosed Thursday with right calf strain. He’s out indefinitely and doubtful for 1st-round playoff series vs Spurs.

GM Chris Wallace: “It’s an unfortunate injury for Tony & the team. With treatment & recovery, we hope to get him back as soon as possible.”
