Today on Talk Back Live With Bob and Josh, we had great special guests. Warren Shaw talk to us about the NBA and his take on the NBA playoffs. Warren says that the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors are the two teams that may be back at the NBA Final Championship game again. We also talked about Cleveland and Golden State are completely Finished with the opponents.
Today Bob and Josh also talked with Head Coach of the Iowa Energy D-League NBA Basketball League/Memphis Grizzlies Team. Coach Cyprian was also an Assistant Coach for the Memphis Tigers. Coach Glenn Cyprian was talking about the Memphis Grizzlies and their playoff games against the San Antonio Spurs tonight Thursday at the Fed-EX Forum in Game 6-Six. Coach Glenn Cyprian stated that the Rant that Coach Fizdale of the Memphis Grizzlies displayed on TV, that he was tired of being disrespected. Coach Glenn Cyprian said that was a great move that The Grizzlies Coach did what he did and that it really helped motivated the team and it showed how much they respect him.
We also asked Coach Glenn Cyprian about Coach Tubby Smith The Head Basketball Coach of the Memphis Tigers. Coach Cyprian stated that Coach Tubby Smith was one of the Best in the Business of College Basketball Arena. He stated that the people need to give him time to get his people in place and that Coach Tubby will be and do what the University hired him to do. Some say he is paid too much money but Coach Glenn Cyprian said that they paid Coach Tubby Smith according to his resume. Coach Tubby is getting his players he wants in that can play for him. Coach Cyprian says Tubby will can get the job done.
Coach Glenn Cyprian even talked about the possibilities that he may be the Head Coach of the New G-League Memphis Grizzlies Team that moving to Southaven, MS. The G-League team should bring some extra excitement to the area and it will be to the advantage of the Memphis Grizzlies. Coach Glenn Cyprian is at this time in negotiations and talks about the Job when the team comes to Southaven/Memphis area. This is great to know that one of the best will be coaching in this area and we believe that he can make a difference.
