6″3 guard Jalen Brown is only in the 8th grade but is a household name on the local basketball scene. If you don’t know about Jalen let me introduce to you the next upcoming talent joining East High School.

Jalen Brown has been a talent since he was 8 years old. His Father Jeremiah who is very active in his sons life put the Ball in Jalen’s hands and it’s been 3 point baskets raining ever since.

Jalen was a 8th grade sensation for Kingsbury Middle School where he was coached by Mario Taylor & led Kingsbury to its first championship. Jalen is a guard that can slash and score in bunches from the perimeter (Led city in scoring averaging 27ppg 9reb 6asst 2stl 1blk). Jalen is a humble young man who has had a incredible summer so far. The accolades and respect are pouring in but he doesn’t let it get to him. It’s a journey that him and his Father Jeremiah have prepared for.

Jalen is taking his talents to East. which right now is better known as East High University based on having so much talent. East has 5 Top 150 prospects on their roster that is returning to lead a national championship schedule. The situation is perfect for Jalen Brown because he gets a chance to adjust rather thrown into a situation immediately.

He can learn from Veteran guards Alex Lomax Mr. Basketball and T.J Moss who has been a starter since 9th grade. The two seniors will be signing Division 1 Scholarships in the coming months. After that Jalen has the opportunity to help keep the East High winning tradition alive.

Jalen is already ranked in his respected class and looks to also throw his name on the list of Future Division 1 standouts to come out of the city of Memphis. Until then he will continue to add trophies and victories this summer playing AAU. Get your popcorn ready folks it’s gonna be a show.

  1. You picked the best in the city for Father and Son team in basketball. They put in countless hours, working effortlessly to prefect the 3’s, 2’s and free throws, along with building strength and weakness. Jalen ups his goal frequently and his game show it. I got my popcorn ready, because 2017-2018 will be Showtime basketball.
