Standout Memphis Tigers RB Darrell Henderson has been selected 70th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft by the NFC Champion Los Angeles Rams. The Batesville, Mississippi native spent two electrifying seasons at the University of Memphis, but his sophomore season really put him on the map in a major way.
This past season Henderson made his mark as an elite home run hitting RB by posting some monster numbers.
He ran for 1,909 yards(2nd most yards in the nation) and 22 touchdowns(2nd most rushing TDs in the nation). He broke the AAC’s single-season rushing record as well.
Henderson is the 1st Memphis running back to be selected in the NFL Draft since DeAngelo Williams in 2006.
