Malik Rhodes has been granted his release from the University of Memphis

Memphis Tigers guard Malik Rhodes announces via Instagram that he has asked for his release from the University of Memphis. Rhodes becomes the 1st of the JUCOs brought in by Tubby Smith to transfer & he joins freshmen David Nickelberry & Jamal Johnson. Another scholarship has been opened up for Penny Hardaway.
